Brachionus plicatilis is a rotifer and not a copepod. Brachionus are used as first food for rearing fish larvae. Easy to cultivate with a fast reproduction rate, rotifers are the ideal entry point into the world of marine fish breeding.

The strain used by Canada Aquamarine comes from the American company Reed Nutrition which has a smaller strain than the other Brachionus plicatilis.

Instruction for cultivation:

In a gallon container, add the bottle of Brachionus Plicatilis. Add phytoplankton to obtain a green color. It is better to add a little phytoplankton more often than to add a large amount of phytoplankton once. With an air pump, stir the water vigorously.
